Tazzy
STATUS: ADOPTABLE
I’m Tazzy (d.o.b. 9/1/2002)! Tazzy is a precious little gentleman with a laidback reserved personality around people he knows. He has playful spurts of energy where he zooms around the room, plays fetch with toys, and enjoys exploring the environments around him. But most of all he really loves it when you gently pet him or hold him in your lap, he just adores every second with you.
The thing that keeps Tazzy unadoptable is that he really doesn’t like men or women that are strangers to him and is not scared to let them know he doesn’t want them around. We are working with him every day in hopes to build is confidence so that he will allow strangers into fill like politely and in hopes that he will one day be adoptable to the right family. But, for the time being, Tazzy has a safe place to live and is very comfortable and confident with his Sanctuary routine. Under Tazzy’s rough exterior and his way of thinking of strangers, he really is such a sweet, affectionate loving boy.
His beautiful silvery-black coat might make him appear to be an older fella, but don’t let that fool you — Tazzy will be the first to remind us that little dogs tend to live a very long time, and he’s feeling pretty good these days!!
