Why do I have to have a physical fenced in area?

Mackenzie’s requests physical fenced yards or fenced play-areas as an extra safety precaution for the dog in the new home. It helps protect your rescue dog from other animals and people that might come into your yard. It helps the new dog get to know their boundaries of this new home territory. It also gives the dog a safe place to run and play freely without being on a leash, and gives the family a peace of mind about their dog not running into the road after a toy or animal. We do still encourage families to walk their dogs daily even if they do have a physical fenced area, as exercise is key for a healthy, happy dog.
