Saving more dogs

Postby rwiersum on Wed Nov 12, 2008 4:22 pm

It is always exciting when we go out to rescue new dogs. Today we went to the shelter and temperament tested numerous dogs. Then the hard but rewarding part; deciding which ones would fit our programs and have a high probability of being adopted. We brought in two new ones. It really makes for a great day and re affirms we are making a difference.

I went back to isolation to look at them and they look adorable. Guido had the biggest smile I've ever seen and he had the wiggle butt. Gracie was a little unsure but adorable nonetheless.

I know we all wish we could save every one of them, but saving even one is cause for happiness. :)

It is incredible to be able to save so many. It is because of all of us and our committment to the cause. Gracie is a bit vocal wanting attention. She is very wiggly and wants to be close to you. Guido is very wiggly and loose. He sure enjoys his food.
